Bhangra, Bollywood and West African dancers of all skill levels needed!
We are joining forces with the Bissap Baobab Restaurant to bring some Indian and West African Flavors to the Carnaval Parade on May 29th!
Come be a part of our contingent! You can choose to be part of the Bhangra/Bollywood or West African performance group.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Saturdays, 10am-11:30am, beginning March 26th
Bhangra and Bollywood Carnaval Rehearsal
Sundays, 10-11:30am, beginning March 27th
West African Carnaval Rehearsal
During the last 2 weeks before Carnaval, both groups will meet together on Saturday mornings.
All rehearsals take place at the Bollyhood Cafe Dance Studio, 3372 19th St., betw. Capp and Mission
Rehearsals are $12 each
Costumes will be $50-$75 (exact amount to be determined). If you don’t have the funds, there may be opportunities for work-exchange.
