Duniya Dance and Drum Company educational programs feature Bhangra, Bollywood dance, and West African dance and drumming traditions along with expert instructors who provide engaging introductions highlighting historical and cultural contexts, global perspectives, and interactive rhythmic activities. Our performances and workshops create an immersive cultural experience that educates participants about world traditions while promoting creative expression and community building.
Programs can be tailored to specific age groups and educational levels, or made accessible to all ages upon request. We also offer heritage month school assemblies all throughout the Bay Area! Such as performances for Black History Month, Juneteenth, Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, and other special celebrations!
