Olivia Eng finds her greatest passions in dancing, music, yoga, photography, world traveling, and the beauty of a conversation without having to say a word. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine, focusing on Dance and Sociology and is grateful to her early mentors Victor Moreno and Donald McKayle. She loves and continually studies an eclectic variety of dance forms including modern, hip hop, house, jazz, ballet, west african, brazilian, haitian, cuban, bhangara, bollywood, capoeira, among other forms. She has performed and furthered her training in Singapore, Mexico, Cuba, and Europe with various companies and danced with The Dance Monks, Liberation Dance Theater, Paco Gomes and Dancers in San Francisco. Olivia currently works with Aguas Da Bahia, Alayo Dance Company, and Duniya Drum and Dance. She gives thanks to all of those who have continually taught and inspired her from around the globe. “No Hay atajos para alcanzar algo que valga la pena…..There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.”
